This robust little dinghy is the
smallest Cascade in our fleet. It is offered as a tender,
complete with oars and a towing eye or as a sailing dinghy 3.9 ounce
Dacron sail, solid mahogany center seat, dagger board and rudder
along with oars come as standard equipment with the sailing model.
Hull construction includes all woven fiberglass materials. Hand
laid with the same skill and care as their larger sisters; these
boats are designed to handle the abuse of beach landings. Each
dinghy is equipped with positive flotation for safety and a bump
friendly vinyl guard rail to not only protect her gunwale, but to
cushion the impact of coming along side in a chop.
The CD Dinghy is designed to row easily and straight, while the
sailing version will challenge any sailing dinghy in the yacht club.
Few things are more enjoyable than handling a well behaved dinghy.
